I specialize in semi-custom and custom hand-guided quilting. My studio is a clean, smoke-free environment.

QUILT DESIGN:
If you have a design in mind let me know, or have me choose a design for you to complement your quilt. Quilting design is an important aspect in achieving the look you want.

Designs may be done freehand or by using rulers and stencils. The quilting process requires the use of pins and basting. I may also use chalk, fabric marking pencils or fabric marking pens.

THREADS:
I use a variety of high-quality threads including specialty threads.

BATTING:
You can purchase my batting or supply your own batting (subject to approval).

BACKING:
Prepare your backing leaving 3" to 4" extra on each side of the quilt. This space is used to clamp the backing fabric to avoid puckers on the back of the quilt. It is preferable to seam your backing so that the seams run horizontal to the quilt top.
Do not bring a sheet for backing.

PRICING:
Quilting is priced by the square yard starting at $45/yard. I do not require a deposit. Upon selecting a quilting design I will confirm the quilting fee. There is a $50 minimum charge. A thread charge will be applied depending upon the density of the quilting. There is a minimum thread charge of $5.00. All prices are subject to change without notice.
